As a prospective transfer student, we invite you to join us on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus to learn more about our transfer admissions process, university community, and academic programs.
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: We begin the day with an Admissions Information Session at the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. This information session offers an overview of UW–Madison and insight into the transfer admissions process.
11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Next is a 75-minute campus walking tour led by a student tour guide.
12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Grab lunch on your own at a campus dining facility, student union, or one of the many local eateries within walking distance.
1:00 to 4:00 p.m.: After lunch, you can attend an information-gathering opportunity hosted by other departments on campus. Opportunities include school or college information sessions and one-on-one academic advising for prospective transfer students. These are optional and vary in length.
