Facilitating an environment for APIDA identifying students that provides academic, professional, and social opportunities that critically engage their identity and build communities of support at UW–Madison.

- Alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority Inc. Alpha Epsilon Chapter – The purpose of this Asian-interest sorority is to promote sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and Asian/Asian-American awareness in the university and community.
- Asian American InterVarsity Christian Fellowship - UW–Madison Chapter – An Asian American family at UW–Madison learning to follow Jesus and sharing his love in our community and beyond.
- Asian American Student Union – The Asian American Student Union (AASU) is a Pan-Asian organization that aims to unite the Asian American community by holding educational workshops and social events to endorse solidarity, networking, and community among students.
- Asian Musical Instruments Community – The purpose of Asian Musical Instruments Community is to bring students and UW affiliates from different ethnic and social backgrounds to engage in discussion about music genres from the Asian continent and related topics from a global perspective.
- Chi Sigma Tau National Fraternity, Inc. Delta Chapter – We, the Brothers of Delta Chapter of Chi Sigma Tau National Fraternity, seek to improve leadership skills, promote cultural awareness, and build brotherhood.
- Chinese American Student Association – CHASA strives to promote Chinese American culture on campus and provide opportunities where students are able to build community through social events.
- Chinese Badger Mentorship – We are a professional student organization that strives for better information, resources, and opportunities for connections among Chinese Badgers, from freshmen to upperclassmen and alumni.
- Chinese Basketball Club (UW–Madison) – Chinese Basketball Club was founded for students who love playing basketball. Our club provides opportunities for members to develop teamwork and leadership ability through weekly trainings and tournaments both on and off campus.
- Chinese Entertainment Agency: Blueline TV – Blueline TV (CEA) is a Chinese Entertainment Agency that focuses on video productions, primarily TV shows. We also organize a series of related offline activities in conjunction with the filming of TV shows. We welcome all UW–Madison students and scholars.
- Chinese Language and Culture Club (CLACC) – CLACC promotes the understanding of the Chinese Language and Culture through free, fun-filled cultural events, Chinese Language Table, and various other opportunities. Gaps between faculty, alumni, and students are bridged together through CLACC!
- Chinese Psychelogos – Chinese Psychelogos, serving as a platform, aims to form a close and stable bond among Chinese psychology students on campus and to provide guidance and support to all new incoming students interested in psychology.
- Chinese Radio Station (CRS) – As the biggest Chinese new-media student organization, Chinese Radio Station takes the division of sharing students’ value through influential media. CRS is a project-based organization that involves many categories.
- Chinese Soccer Team at UW–Madison – Chinese Soccer Team provides all Chinese students who love soccer an opportunity to participate in both recreational and competitive soccer. Through activities, this organization will improve participants' teamwork, leadership, and dedication.
- Chinese Students and Scholars Association at UW–Madison – More than 20 years since its foundation, Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) has doubtlessly established itself as the most active and influential Chinese student organization on the UW–Madison campus.
- Chinese Undergraduate Student Association (UW–Madison) – CUSA serves as a supportive student group dedicated to improving the well-being of all undergraduate Chinese and other Asian students at UW–Madison and fostering cultural exchange on campus and Madison community.
- Education Currigers – Education Currigers is a student-run organization for Chinese students interested in or majoring in education. We will provide platforms for members to engage in curriculum design, mock lessons, seminars, and advising to promote educational interests.
- Filipinx American Student Organization (FASO) – FASO aims to educate and spread awareness about Filipino culture & history, to foster friendships, identify with each other, and work towards a common goal. FASO is based on the spirit of Bayanihan—the values of self-identity, family, and community.
- FoundLand Musical – A Chinese student organization that pursues interest in musicals and holds weekly rehearsals to create musical theatre production.
- Hmong American Student Association (HASA) – HASA's goal is to raise awareness and educate Hmong Americans and the community about the Hmong culture and contemporary issues. HASA serves as a resource for students, promoting higher education and providing opportunities for leadership and talent.
- Hong Kong Student Association (HKSA) – HKSA aims to assist our fellow Hong Kong students to get adapted to the new environment. Everyone is welcomed to participate in our various events to learn more about our culture and to make new friends.
- Japanese Karate Club - UW–Madison – We practice Shotokan Karate, the traditional form of Karate. At practices, we learn kihon (techniques), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring). Whether you are actively interested in competing, or simply want to work out, we would love to have you join!
- Japanese Student Association – The Japanese Student Association strives to provide a safe space for community members of Japanese descent and a place to learn more about Japanese culture, meet new people, and develop professional skills for all who are interested.
- Korean "Happy Hour" – A club that brings together Korean language learners and speakers in order to receive further practice outside of the classroom, as well as gain a deeper understanding of the culture overall.
- Korean Business Student Association (KBSA) – KBSA is a student organization registered at the Wisconsin School of Business. Our organization aims to provide supplementary education about the business environment and help facilitate a successful transition into the professional world.
- Korean Students and Scholars Association - UW–Madison – An association of students, mainly graduate students but also some non-graduate students who wish to be part of the organization, and scholars who are interested in Korea, its people, and its culture. We organize events, e.g. Annual New Student Welcome.
- Korean Undergraduate Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – A scholarly organization where students get together and discuss biology or other scientific topics.
- Korean Undergraduate Students Association (KUSA) – KUSA is an umbrella organization for Korean undergraduate students on the UW–Madison campus. KUSA functions as a "hub" which connects and supports other various student organizations that are run by Korean students.
- Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association Wisconsin YG Chapter – KSEA offers young scientists and engineers with opportunities and connections throughout the world, especially in the US, Canada, and South Korea. We hope to gain greater interdependence between all levels of scholars.
- Korean-American Student Association – We exist for all students at UW–Madison to assist, guide, and encourage students in identifying with Korean-American culture and to provide a social, political, and an academic support network on campus.
- Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, Inc. University of Wisconsin–Madison Associate Chapter – ΛΦΕ is the world’s largest and only internationally recognized Asian-interest fraternity. Though we are an Asian-interest fraternity, we are not Asian-exclusive.
- LANSe Dance – LANSe Dance is a traditional Chinese Dance team dedicated to introducing Chinese-style dancing to people who have never done dance before and to give a platform for those who have. Low commitment org., no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn.
- Lao and Cambodian Student Association – The Lao and Cambodian Student Association strives to build a cohesive community within students of all ethnicities interested in learning about Laotian and/or Cambodian culture.
- Madison Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. – We are an Asian-interests sorority at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. We strive to empower Dedicated Female Leaders and forge an Everlasting Sisterhood. 7 Virtues: loyalty, honesty, respect, dedication, integrity, discipline, and academic excellence.
- MaiDiXunSheng Chinese Student Choir – MaiDiXunSheng Chinese Student Choir aims to organize students to practice music and vocal skills together, reach out to community, promote Chinese culture on campus and around the great Madison area.
- Malaysian Student Association (MSA) – MSA's primary objectives are to promote awareness of Malaysian culture, to be a platform for all UW–Madison students to build culturally diverse experiences, and to provide a support network on campus.
- North American Association of Indian Students, UW–Madison– We collectivize and represent Indian students and their interests to foster a vibrant community at UW–Madison by celebrating being Indian. Our goal is to ease the transition of students by providing students belonging and access to resources in one place.
- MannMukti UW–Madison – MannMukti's mission is to encourage healthy, open dialogue of South Asian mental health issues in an effort to remove stigma, improve awareness and promote self-care.
- Pacific Islander Student Association – PISA exists to recognize, support, uplift, and celebrate students of Pacific Islander heritage at UW–Madison. We welcome all different identities of students and seek to educate others, raise awareness, and foster a community of Pacific Islander culture.
- Perspectives Project – The Perspectives Project aims to provide a cultural lens to mental health resources at UW–Madison to create a safe space for students of color, with an emphasis on Asian-American students.
- Progressive Asia Association – We welcome everyone who cares about and wants to know more about social justice issues in Asia.
- Revival Band – A Chinese band dedicated to promote Chinese pop music mainly through performances.
- Saying Theatre– Saying Theatre has been presenting and promoting Chinese culture, especially theater arts, ever since its foundation in 2015. The organization aims to produce at least one drama production every year.
- South East Asian Dance Organization (SEADO) – SEADO's mission is to explore and promote awareness of Southeast Asian cultural dances on the UW campus and in the Madison community.
- Taiwanese Undergraduate Student Organization – Taiwanese Undergraduate Student Organization (TUSO) is dedicated to assisting Taiwanese undergraduates and introducing Taiwanese culture on campus. Every school year the committee hosts a number of educational, social, and multicultural events.
- Thai Student Association (TSA) – The Thai Student Association was founded in fall 1987. Since then, TSA has represented the Thai Student body not only on the campus, but also in the city of Madison in order to support their living and promote diversity in UW–Madison.
- Vietnamese Student Association – Our goal is to bring together students who are Vietnamese or are interested in the Vietnamese culture and would like to be more involved with the community. Our mission is to develop young leaders in the Vietnamese community and connect people together.
- Wisconsin Waale A Cappella – Wisconsin Waale is a competitive South Asian a cappella group. We perform arrangements that draw from multiple styles of South Asia and popular music from the United States. We welcome all students who are interested in vocal performance and competition.
- YuanSheng Chinese Opera Club – Chinese opera club aims to provide a platform for students who are interested in or are willing to learn about traditional Chinese opera to communicate and practice various genres of Chinese opera.

- African Students Association (ASA) – ASA was formed to promote cultural and social awareness of the African people amongst the entire student body and faculty of UW–Madison, to facilitate better communication and understanding between African people and all other members of the university community.
- Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Epsilon Delta Chapter – The Epsilon Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has remained a leader in setting standards academically, uplifting our sisterhood, and staying true to Being of Service to All Mankind. Following in the footsteps of our revered Founders.
- Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Gamma Epsilon Chapter – Founded nationally on December 4, 1906, and chartered on the UW campus on December 7, 1946. Gamma Epsilon holds pride in the diversity of its brotherhood and in the array of leaders it produces. "First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All."
- Black Voice – The Black Voice aims to offer a journalistic platform for the historically silenced voices of Black students to be heard on UW–Madison’s campus and beyond. It is an online safe space for Black and African diasporic students and affiliated communities.
- Elevation Dance Team – Elevation Dance Team (EDT) was created to provide HBCU style majorette and hip-hop dance to students on campus, as well as a familyhood through dance. All dances are choreographed by members.
- National Pan-Hellenic Council UW–Madison (NPHC) – NPHC serves as the governing body for all nationally recognized and chartered Black Greek Letter Organization chapters approved for membership and activity by the National Pan-Hellenic Council as well as the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
- National Society of Black Engineers - Wisconsin Black Engineering Student Society – The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is an organization dedicated to improving the enrollment, retention, and academic achievement of ethnic minorities pursuing education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM fields).

- Wisconsin Association of Black Men – After a think tank session with a visiting professor in fall 2009, 18 men decided that men of African descent on this campus needed a support system where brothers help brothers succeed academically and develop as young men in the community.
- Wisconsin Black Student Union – The Wisconsin Black Student Union (WBSU) is designed to foster an environment that better suits the needs of Black students and stands behind the philosophy that through utilizing our talents, we can make our presence felt on UW–Madison's campus.

- Dreamers of UW - The purpose of this organization is to advocate for undocumented/DACAmented students pursuing higher education. Additionally, DREAMERS aims to educate students, faculty, staff, and communities regarding the struggles and the needs of these students. This organization hopes to provide resources and serve as a support group to undocumented/DACAmented students whether they are in high school, undergraduate, or graduate school. We strive to provide series of educational workshops and presentations in various places such as schools, churches, classrooms, and communities, along with mentoring services. Finally, we hope to organize fundraisers to provide undocumented/DACAmented students with scholarships to fund their educational endeavors. DREAMERS advocate and take action to ensure that students have equal access to higher education and become leaders of tomorrow.
- Advocates for Immigrants' Rights - The purpose of Advocates for Immigrants’ Rights (AIR) is to represent the interests of students advocating for immigrants’ rights through networking, community outreach, education, and mentorship.

Center for Educational Opportunity (CeO) – TRIO
CeO houses two federal TRIO programs (Student Support Services and Student Support Services-STEM) and one state program (Academic Support and Achievement Program) for students who are first-generation, meet federal income guidelines, and/or have a documented disability. Our mission is to increase access, retention, and graduation rates for students through holistic and high-touch advising and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for you!
Center for Academic Excellence (CAE), College of Letters & Science
The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) provides an enriching, inclusive community and academic support for College of Letters & Science (L&S) students who have been historically underrepresented in higher education, including first-generation and low-income students, and students of color. CAE offers a variety of engagement opportunities, including high-touch advising, tutoring programs, health and wellness events, social events, graduate school preparation, and connections with high-impact life changing opportunities.
Originally announced in February 2017, the Badger Promise is a commitment to Wisconsin resident, first-generation college students.
The program guarantees a period of free tuition and segregated fees to those who have successfully transferred from any of the two-year UW Branch campuses (formerly UW Colleges) or from liberal arts associate degree programs at Madison College (Madison Area Technical College), Milwaukee Area Technical College, Western Technical College, Nicolet College, the College of Menominee Nation, the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College, and Chippewa Valley Technical College.

- Dreamers of UW - The purpose of this organization is to advocate for undocumented/DACAmented students pursuing higher education. Additionally, DREAMERS aims to educate students, faculty, staff, and communities regarding the struggles and the needs of these students. This organization hopes to provide resources and serve as a support group to undocumented/DACAmented students whether they are in high school, undergraduate, or graduate school. We strive to provide series of educational workshops and presentations in various places such as schools, churches, classrooms and communities, along with mentoring services. Finally, we hope to organize fundraisers to provide undocumented/DACAmented students with scholarships to fund their educational endeavors. - Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. Chi Chapter - Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. was established on January 25, 1993, on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. - Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc.-Gamma Theta Chapter - Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. was founded on December 1, 1975 in Union, New Jersey at Kean University. We made history as the first nationally recognized Latino Fraternity. There was no other Latino Fraternity in existence at that time. In the Spring of 2006, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. became the first Latino Fraternity at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The ideals of this brotherhood are the following: Academic Excellence; Brotherhood; Leadership; Latino Unity; Service. On a daily basis, our brothers live up to these ideals, as set forth by fourteen young Latino men decades ago. The purpose of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is to provide the Latino college student the opportunity to be part of a family with a mission. Our mission is to cultivate a spirit of brotherhood, to value an education, to promote unity among all Latinos, to be proud of and cherish our heritage, to assert roles of leadership, to develop character, to practice chivalry, and to serve mankind. - Latinx Pre-Law Students Association - LPSA was founded to help Latinx students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison navigate through undergraduate and prepare them for law school. By creating a welcoming space for Latinx students, LPSA aims to establish a community of prospective law students who will not only help each other but also the Latinx community throughout Wisconsin.
- La Unión Puertorriqueña - La Unión Puertorriqueña is a student organization at the University of Wisconsin-Madison that strives to maintain and enrich Puerto Rican culture throughout the UW-Madison Campus. The LUPR strives to foster unity and increase awareness of Puerto Rican culture. Throughout the academic year the organization strives to organize several educational, social, cultural and political activities those of which include the celebration of Puerto Rican Heritage Month, and many other events around the Madison community.
- Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) - A student organization open to all University of Wisconsin students. Our goal is to assists members with developing the skills and tools to succeed in the professional world. Members also have opportunities to network with professionals in agriculture, natural resources and other related sciences. The national organization of MANRRS hosts an annual Career Fair and Training conference. Members may participate in workshop sessions, keynote addresses and a national career fair.
- Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán de UW-Madison - MEChA is an acronym that stands for Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán. We are a student organization that promotes higher education, community engagement, political participation, culture, and history. MEChA chapters are often the only groups on campus that seek to open the doors of higher education for our communities and strive for a society free of imperialism, racism, sexism, and homophobia. - PASOS - PASOS stands for “Promotores Académicos Sembrando, Orientando y Sobresaliendo” (“Academic Promoters Seeding, Orienting and Overcoming”). This mentorship program helps Chican@ and Latin@ students imagine the possibilities of attending graduate school. Through individual and group mentoring activities, graduate student mentors answer undergraduates’ questions about graduate study and guide them through the application process.
- Professional Association of Latin@s for Medical School Access - PALMA is a student organization at the University of Wisconsin Madison, founded in the spring of 2008 by several UW-Madison pre-med students. PALMA is meant to provide yet another resource to pre-med students at UW-Madison. The mission of PALMA is to provide resources for, but not exclusively to, Latino/a students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who are interested in medicine and/or a medical career. PALMA aims to expand the participation of groups who have traditionally been underrepresented as doctors. To best serve students, PALMA will offer a number of resources for Latino/a students to enhance their academic and civic credentials for successful entry into medical schools across the country. These resources include mentoring, MCAT information and preparation, networking, social support, shadowing, volunteer opportunities and professional development. REFORMA is the National Association to Promote Library & Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking. The iSchool REFORMA Student Chapter is the first student chapter of the national association. The REFORMA Student Chapter goals are congruent with the goals of REFORMA National Association. - Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. (Delta Delta Chapter) - Sigma Lambda Beta (ΣΛΒ) is the largest Latino-based social fraternity established on cultural understanding and wisdom. Founded on April 4, 1986 at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, the organization is committed to create and expand multicultural leadership, promote academic excellence, advance cultural awareness and service while influencing its mission amongst all dedicated collegiate men worldwide. With over 144 entities consisting of colonies, chapters, and alumni associations across the country and in Puerto Rico, Sigma Lambda Beta is the largest historically Latino Fraternal Greek Lettered intercollegiate fraternity in America.
- Sigma Lambda Gamma Nat'l Sorority Inc. - Kappa Gamma Chapter - Sigma Lambda Gamma (ΣΛΓ) (also known as Gammas or SLG) is a historically Latina-based national sorority with multicultural membership founded on April 9, 1990, at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa by five collegiate womyn who wanted an organization to empower all womyn. The sorority focuses on five principles – academics, community service, cultural awareness, social interaction, and morals and ethics – to unite their members as “hermanas por vida” (sisters for life). Since its beginnings, Sigma Lambda Gamma has implemented national programs to empower their members and womyn of the community, such as the Young Women’s Leadership Program and Emotional Intelligence. They have also partnered up with other organizations to improve political, educational, and social conditions in the United States. A sisterhood of over 8,000 members, the sorority believes that Culture is Pride, Pride is Success and explores the richness in the traditions of Latina culture.

Additionally, we are most well-known for our annual Pride Prom, which prides itself on being a substance-free late-night dance that ends with drag performances! The Open Seat strives to alleviate the stresses of food insecurity by providing friendly and accessible sources of food for students at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Applying for SNAP (Presentation)
The Campus Food Shed's mission is to reduce food waste and food insecurity simultaneously by recovering produce that would have gone to waste from grocery stores and research farms to instead make it freely available to all UW–Madison students and staff.
Due to the high percentage of college students experiencing food insecurity, DASH works to open donation drives in off-campus apartment buildings to collect spices and kitchen ware for redistribution to students through the free food pantry on campus.

- Japanese Karate Club - UW–Madison – We practice Shotokan Karate, the traditional form of Karate. At practices, we learn kihon (techniques), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring). Whether you are actively interested in competing, or simply want to work out, we would love to have you join!
- Kendo Club - UW–Madison – Kendo (剣道) is a martial art utilizing swords made of bamboo and wood. Developed in Japan, it is now practiced throughout the world. The primary purpose of Kendo is not self-defense, but the development of discipline and self-control.
- Madison Anime Club – The Anime Club exists to spread an appreciation of Japanese animation, manga, gaming, and culture while hosting showings, parties, convention meetups, and social events across campus.
- Madison Rap Involvement Group – MadRIG fosters a social environment in which students can learn, teach, and practice the arts of freestyle rapping and recording while also meeting others with similar interests in hip hop.
- Madison Rueda – Madison Rueda is devoted to authentic Cuban style Casino and Rueda de Casino dancing. Our emphasis is on the celebration of Cuban culture, dance, and music.
- Madtown Bhangra – Madtown Bhangra is student-led virtual, collegiate, philanthropic dance competition that strives to showcase the style and elements of Bhangra, a traditional folk dance from the Indian state of Punjab, as well as support charities around the world.
- Majsoul, Wisc – This club is for people who love playing the online Majsoul game. It is about a Japanese traditional game called Lizhi Mahjong. It is a competitive game. We gather people to play together and improve skills, and also for the spread of this Japanese culture.
- Multicultural Business Student Association (MBSA) – MBSA is dedicated to bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and connecting them with internship and career opportunities with leading companies. We focus heavily on fostering inclusion, developing key business skills, and networking.

McBurney Disability Resources Center
The McBurney Disability Resource Center is an office within the Division of Student Affairs. Disability Cultural Center (DCC)
The Disability Cultural Center (DCC) is a space to uplift, affirm, and celebrate disability identity and culture on campus. Disability culture is the shared experiences, history, and traditions of disabled people; disability culture happens when disabled people are creating, being, doing from a place of disability and is present in visual art, film, music, spots, activism, community, and more. Holding all this, the DCC intends to increase disabled belonging and appreciation of disability culture at UW–Madison.
The DCC is open to all students, regardless of disability identity, disclosure, or affiliation with the McBurney Disability Resource Center. All students are welcome to explore their relationship to disability and develop their appreciation for disability culture.
The DCC encompasses a physical space, social media presence, programming, and community. The DCC is in community with other cultural centers and units across campus.
Mental Health Resources at UW–Madison
UHS mental health services are available, confidential, easy to start, and no cost.
How to start with Mental Health Services
An Access Appointment is the first step to individual counseling and many groups. This appointment is typically done over the phone and lasts about 20 minutes. During this appointment, together with the student, MHS providers collaboratively determine needs and connect students to the services they need, both on and off campus. Students will be able to request to be referred to providers with specific identities, backgrounds, or training for their ongoing care. To schedule an Access Appointment, call 608-265-5600 (option 2) or log on to MyUHS. In-person appointments are available by request.

Beyond the clinic walls, UHS offers many services for supporting student mental health. If a student is not ready to start counseling, is waiting for a counseling appointment, or is looking for tools to improve their mental health, UHS has services available.
- Let’s Talk is a no-cost, informal, and confidential service where students can speak to a UHS counselor about specific problems and explore solutions in a 20-minute one-on-one session. Let’s Talk is a great way to explore what going to therapy and speaking to a mental health professional is like in a one-time, directed session. Some Let’s Talk sections focus on specific identities or concerns, with sessions for BIPOC students, LGBTQ+ students, engineering students, and more. Other daily sessions are open to all students and concerns.
- UHS offers a guided relaxation playlist on Spotify. Topics include sleep, autogenic relaxation, muscle relaxation, breath awareness, and peaceful focus. Listen to the playlist on Spotify.
- Thrive Workshops help students develop skills to handle different topics like test anxiety, sleep, procrastination, and more.
- The Connecting Badgers podcast, available on Spotify, is hosted by UHS providers and offers tips for students to promote their mental health in order to strengthen student wellbeing and success.
- UHS has a 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Support Line (608-265-5600, option 9). Faculty or staff who are concerned about the mental health of a student can call this number for consultation. Support is also available from the Dean of Students Office (608-263-5700).

- American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, UW Madison Student Chapter – The AADMD is an interdisciplinary student chapter dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through student leadership, action, and advocacy.
- Ask.Listen.Save. – Ask.Listen.Save. seeks to eliminate the stigma of mental illness on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus through educating the student body about suicide and mental health and promoting available resources for professional help.
- Badger Diabetes Advocates – The Badger Diabetes Advocates (BDA) are dedicated to raising awareness and spreading knowledge about type 1 diabetes and type 1 diabetes research, while fundraising and donating contributions to JDRF.
- Badgers for Special Olympics – We are a non-profit organization that works directly with Special Olympics Wisconsin and RecWell to host various events. We strive to create awareness of different intellectual disabilities through our partnerships within the Madison community as well.
- Badgers with a Heart – Badgers with a Heart works with the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin to improve resources for children with autism. As a student organization, our main goal is to make a difference in the Madison community and to show the hearts of UW students.
- Be The Match on Campus – Be The Match is dedicated to spreading hope and saving lives of those suffering from blood cancers. Members will host campus-wide bone marrow donor drives, volunteer with cancer patients, and fundraise while promoting the cause for bone marrow donation.
- Best Buddies UW–Madison Chapter – Best Buddies is an international nonprofit and campus organization. We match college undergraduate students with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to provide the opportunity for exciting and inclusive one-on-one friendships.
- Chronic Health Allies Mentorship Program (CHAMP) – CHAMP aims to create relationships between undergraduate (mentees) and graduate students (mentors) who manage chronic illness, chronic pain, or disability through one-on-one mentorship and group events.
